This is a quick comparison of normal seasoned firewood and our eco-friendly log briquettes.
This is approximatley 200 logs which on average cost £60
£60 would buy 13 packs of 'Eko Logs' = 78 Logs.
Now lets compare firewood to Eco logs....
The average fire burns 3 logs an hour, so 200 logs would last for approximately 66 hours
Each Eko Log burns for over 1 hour, so 78 Eko logs would burn for at least 78 hours, 12 hours longer than wood!!
The Conclusion; Eko Logs are cheaper than wood and burn for longer!
Other things to consider when comparing Firewood to Eco Logs....
Eko Logs are easy to store - as you can see in the image, they take up far less room than wood and because they are neatly packaged there is no mess, so can conveniently be kept inside.
The most seasoned of wood has a 20% moisture content and we're guessing most of you keep wood outside so by the time it is used, it will contain even more. Eko logs contain between 6-8% moisture which means they burn much hotter than wood.
The Eko Logs are made from very compressed food bio-waste which means that they burn for far longer
Eko Logs burn with a very clean smokeless flame, which means that little or no soot is gathered in the chimney or flue, so you will also save money on not having it cleaned as often.
The ash the Eko log produces can be used as fertiliser in the garden, which makes for easy disposing of ash.
Better for the environment - there are very few harmful emissions and no needless tree felling.
